Established 1974
Fifty years of engineering in Scotland
Founded in 1974, Scottish Engineering began as a small electrical contracting firm serving businesses in Edinburgh. Over five decades our work has grown steadily — driven by careful workmanship and long-term client relationships.
Through the 1980s and 1990s we moved into networking and communications as Scotland's industries modernised. Later came CCTV, solar energy, and purpose-built technology — all of which are now part of our everyday work.
Today we work across Scotland and beyond, with more than 400 active client relationships in retail, healthcare, hospitality, education, and the public sector. We remain privately owned, and we still take the time to explain the job in clear terms.
