Founded in 1974, Scottish Engineering began as a small electrical contracting firm serving the businesses of Edinburgh. Over five decades, our capabilities and reputation have grown steadily — driven by a commitment to quality work and lasting client relationships.
Through the 1980s and 1990s, we expanded our offering into networking and communications as Scotland's industries modernised. The turn of the millennium brought new opportunities in CCTV, solar energy, and bespoke technology solutions — all of which became core competencies for our growing team.
Today, Scottish Engineering operates across Scotland and beyond, with over 400 active client relationships and a portfolio spanning retail, healthcare, hospitality, education, and public sector projects. We remain privately owned and deeply committed to the values that built us.
